Chemical Skin Peels
Chemical peels enhance the results of topical skincare products by taking away dead cells and allowing the products to penetrate the skin better. 70% glycolic peels are used for many of the same purposes as microdermabrasion. Glycolic peels are faster and less expensive than microdermabrasion.

70% Glycolic Peels are a chemical exfoliation of facial skin. Chemical peels enhance the results of home skincare products by taking away dead cells and allowing the products to penetrate the skin better. 70% glycolic peels are used for many of the same purposes as microdermabrasion. Glycolic peels are faster and less expensive than microdermabrasion.

How are Glycolic Peels performed?
The skin is first cleansed and prepped. Then 70% glycolic solution is applied to the treatment area. The glycolic compound stays on the area for 4-6 minutes.

What are 70% glycolic peels used for?
  • to reduce hyperpigmentation
  • to improve dull or uneven skin color
  • to refine the appearance of large pores
  • to keep pores clean and open blackheads
  • to enhance the penetration of skincare products into the skin


  • How many treatments are needed?
    An average of six treatments are recommended. The procedure can be performed once a week or every other week. If skin irritation occurs the interval between treatments may be lengthened. Depending upon your objectives and your skin’s response, more or fewer treatments may be recommended. After the initial series, monthly or bi-monthly maintenance treatments may be recommended.
